WAS LOMBARDO COVERING UP MGM’S SECURITY FAILURE AFTER ACCEPTING MILLIONS IN CAMPAIGN DONATIONS?

WAS LOMBARDO COVERING UP MGM’S SECURITY FAILURE AFTER ACCEPTING MILLIONS IN CAMPAIGN DONATIONS?

October 11, 2017

Since 2013, Sheriff Lombardo has raised over $2.5 million almost entirely from Casinos like the MGM. In 2014 alone, Lombardo raised over $1.9 million dollars.

This year, Lombardo announced he was running for reelection. Lombardo hasn’t filed all his official campaign reports yet but just in the first quarter on 2017 Lombardo has raised over $191,000 and again most of the money is from casino interests.

The other payoff most Clark County Sheriffs can expect is when they retire there’s a cushy no-show head of security position at a casino paying six figures waiting for them, that’s on top of the six-figure pension most ex-sheriffs are receiving for life.

Last week Lombardo’s official story was that; the Mandalay Bay security guard was shot while responding after (not before) the shooting already started and called the police for help. Now it appears that story was false. It now appears the security guard made contact with the shooter in the room minutes prior to the shooting rampage. And now more MGM employees may have also made contact before the shooter took aim at the Route 91 concertgoers.

The DailyMail.co.uk is reporting now:

Hotel workers at the Mandalay Bay didn’t call police until after Stephen Paddock opened fire on hundreds of concert-goers below despite knowing someone had already been shot, according to new phone records.

After hero security guard Jesus Campos was shot he reportedly called down to his superiors, but for some reason, nobody called the police.

An anonymous source reviewed the new phone records on ABC’s ‘World News Tonight,’ in an attempt to shed more light on an increasingly confusing timeline of events which saw more than 59 people killed and hundreds more wounded.

Additionally, security staffers didn’t call police when a Mandalay Bay maintenance engineer Stephen Schuck called down to tell them Paddock was firing at him.

‘Call the police, someone is firing a gun up here. Someone is firing a rifle on the 32nd floor down the hallway, he can be heard saying on new audio tapes released by the hotel on Wednesday.

The first lawsuit has been filed against the MGM by a concertgoer yesterday. If the MGM security failed to call police after one of their people were shot and before the shooter opened up on the concertgoers their liability could be in the billions of dollars.

This may explain why Lombardo may have been covering for his largest campaign donor? In the end its always about the money in Las Vegas.

Just a small sample of the $2.5 million in donations that came in mostly from casinos.
