NEVADA’S ONLY REPUBLICAN CONGRESSMAN IS SKIPPING THE INAUGURATION

January 18, 2017

Today, while in Washington DC attending the festivities, I learned Nevada’s our only Republican Congressman, Mark Amodei, is skipping the inauguration. So that means Nevada has no elected officials representing Nevada at the inauguration of the 45th President of The Untied States from the Republican party.

Senator Dean Heller was a Never Trumper up until the general election night. Since Trump’s victory Heller has made a few remarks indicating his willingness to support some of Trump’s agenda, but so far he has failed to publicly support any policies of the incoming administration in any press releases. But the Senators’ staff did report he will be in attendance on Friday.

Congressman Mark Amodei’s office said he is hosting a party in his district on inauguration day. Amodei represents most of North Nevada which went completely for Trump in the general election. Amodei endorsed Jeb Bush during the primary election but gave his tacit support to Trump during the general election.

So me, Wayne Allyn Root and Assemblyman Jim Marchant are now Nevada’s official representatives at the inauguration of the President Donald Trump.

All this will make you ever more upset when you learn Democrat Congressman Ruben Kihuen will be attending the inauguration.
