NEVADA CONGRESSMAN KIHUEN ADMITS BEING AN ILLEGAL ALIEN AT ONE TIME

March 18, 2017

Freshman Congressman Ruben Kihuen was elected last year to his first term in Congress representing the 4th District of Nevada. But in his first month Kihuen is already creating controversy by attacking President Trump.

In January, following President Trump’s first Executive Order suspending immigration from seven countries deemed high risk terrorist sponsors, Congressman Kihuen attacked Trump in a series if tweets. In a January 25, 2017 tweet, Kihuen disclosed he himself was an illegal alien “@POTUS, I was once undocumented- now I’m a member of Congress.”

360Daily.net reached out to the Congressman’s office for comment. His spokesman Miguel Salazar responded “He and his family arrived legally and then overstayed their visas which pushed them into the undocumented category.”

But critics were quick to point out that Kihuen was in fact “documented” with a visa but overstayed the visa making him simply an illegal alien and not undocumented.
