GAMING CONTROL BOARD REFUSES TO PROVIDE JESUS CAMPOS’ PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP DOCS

October 23, 2017

Last week 360Daily.net served the Nevada Gaming Control Board with a Freedom of Information Request for Jesus Campos’ employment and citizenship documents. Today they answered us NO. They refused to provide anything whatsoever.

We are reviewing all our legal options including filing a lawsuit.

THE NEVADA CONTROL BOARD OFFICIAL RESPONSE TODAY:

Mr. Lauer,

We have received your Public Records Request for “copies of any and all public records in whatever medium they may be regarding any and all communications of any kind, memorandum or other public records of any kind whatsoever in related to Jesus Campos, SecurityGuard/employee at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, including his licensing, proof of citizenship, background check, criminal record, sheriff’s card, applications, disciplinary records etc.” I have conducted a search of our records and found that the documents requested are considered confidential and not subject to disclosure, see NRS 463.335(16). Pursuant to NRS 239.010, confidential documents are not public records. The Board is entrusted with maintaining the confidential nature of the Board’s work product, investigative material, and privileged information and, therefore, is unable to comply with the request.

Thank you,

Barbara Bolton, MBA
